Learning Concept & Program Designer

Job description

Welcome to Lepaya

Our mission is to enable professionals across the globe to be more effective in their work and enjoy more happiness in life. Did you know that 85% of your effectiveness at work is determined by soft skills? To deliver on our mission, we deliver high impact soft skill training. Our training platform provides professionals with the more modern tools to develop themselves: online where possible, face-to-face where that has more impact.

We launched early 2018 and, the success of our approach is demonstrated by our rapidly expanding client-base - ranging from the most innovative and fast-growing scale-ups such as Bynder and Picnic, to global corporates such as ING, and L’Oreal.

We are now fully committed to rapid growth and international expansion, supported by a recent €5 mln investment. This makes it the perfect time to step in. The new Learning Concept & Program Designer has the opportunity to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, where he/she plays a central role in achieving ambitious growth.

A word on diversity: at Lepaya, all we’re askin’ is a little respect! To us, it doesn’t matter where you were born, what you believe in, how old you are, what you look like, or who you love. We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds will actually lift Lepaya to new heights and increase our power of thinking. Our passion is to build a strong culture with respect for each other’s unique experiences, backgrounds, perspectives and skills. Join us, as there is a place for you here!

Why do we need you?

We have experienced the power of programmatic learning. We have seen how peer groups can challenge and support each other and how learning happens over a longer period of time, applying the right interventions across the program. Therefore our offering is focused on programs aimed at three pivotal career points in which we offer the right training at each stage.

As Lepaya expands, we want to grow and improve along three dimensions. First we want to further improve our existing programs. Of course by continuously improving the individual modules, but also by developing a better flow, driving understanding of where the learner stands and building flexibility and developing interventions to address the specific learning needs. Secondly we want to expand our training catalogue towards new audiences and alternative learning needs. This may include programs for more senior leaders or specific audiences like sales teams. Lastly we want to help our corporate clients to develop their tailor made programs.

We need your deep expertise on developing strong integrated programs that set us apart from our competitors in delivering impact effectively.

Specifically, what we would expect you to have delivered in the next 6-12 months?

  • A fully updated program offering with a broad range of topics and interventions that can be deployed in a flexible way to fit best our client needs (in terms of budget, mix on-/offline, duration, etc.);
  • A systematic and automated approach to improve how we measure the impact of our programs that is relied upon by our clients and implemented in all of Lepaya’s programs, potentially working together with external expertise and/or partners;
  • A strong senior HR/L&D sounding board, to test new ideas but also act as a true sparring partner on program design;
  • A great process to collaborate with our Client Success Managers and Business Development Managers;
  • Possible - depending on your background and interest - great feedback on having lead selected senior leadership programs;

In an ideal world, who would you be?

  • You have proven experience in developing and running traineeship or leadership programs at corporate clients, either internally or as an external provider;
  • You are effective in breaking down the programs into specific actions that can be delegated to others such as content creators, e-learning creators or facilitators, but also hands-on, making sure all details and checks & balances are in place;
  • You have a natural drive to support your conclusions about successful programs and improvements based on both qualitative and quantitative analysis;
  • You are creative, bringing a great experience factor to your programs, learning also from other industries (like entertainment, sports, etc.);
  • You are a good coach, both towards internal colleagues as well as external trainers, ideally based on your own experiences as trainer / facilitator;
  • You have a proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment;

We value capabilities over formal experience, yet what would we love to see on your resume?

  • 7+ years training and program development, of which 1-2+ in a “lead” role working on traineeship or leadership programs with / in corporate companies;
  • Hands-on training, facilitating and / or coaching experience;
  • Practical impact measurement analytics experience;
  • A relevant degree from a top university or college;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, at least conversational in Dutch.

And of course, next to the challenge we offer, why is it amazing to work for Lepaya?

  • You will join an inspiring and dynamic environment;
  • You will participate in Lepaya’s own training curriculum;
  • We offer accelerated personal growth and career opportunities;
  • We offer an attractive compensation package;
  • And the best: participation in the Lepaya Work-To-Live schedule consisting of unlimited holidays & a free Friday every second week.

Are you looking for a challenge with a lot of responsibility and learning opportunities? Be part of a fun international team? Work on an innovative solution for learning & development? Get in touch with us now! As soon as possible after we have received your application, we will contact you. If we like your profile, we will invite you for a first chat via video call with our People Manager to explain to you more about us, the role, as well as the specifics of the interview process for the role.
